These are not the official minutes of Dream South D’s board meetings because occasionally it has been necessary to remove personal or sensitive information discussed by the board.

Attending a meeting

Dream South D Trust board meetings are held in public, and anyone is able to attend and observe.

Members of the public cannot speak at the meeting unless, before the meeting, they have arranged with the Chairperson that they can address the board.

This is because, although meetings are held in public, they are not public meetings. Meetings are not designed as a consultation forum - the purpose is for Trustees to fulfil their governance obligations.

Occasionally it is necessary to exclude the public from a part of a meeting so that the Board can discuss a matter that requires privacy (eg if discussing commercially sensitive or personal information).
