  • Board Report

  • Lorne Street – great to have all the information on underground services, meeting with Board to be confirmed to discuss scope and budget on Tues 18 Nov at 430pm.

  • Navy Park – great to see the updates on social media. Launch in January (19th?), Play Parks, Face Painting, Volleyball Assoc, etc.

  • Fright Night on Ice – excellent event again, great feedback.

  • Distance Markers – extra funds not required for helmets,

  • Repair Space – as per last meeting minutes, we are not getting involved in this.

  • Buskers Festival – sounds like it went really well, the video was great!

  • Walking Tours for Heritage Week

  • Any other matters from board pack

  • Christmas – add one item that can be added to the existing lights, eg. Wreath to decorate. Solar lights for trees on the street also a good idea. Try to get the main South D street on the Heritage Christmas Bus lights tour.  Consider whether anything could be done in South City Mall?

Looking Ahead – discuss at next meeting, Repeat of skip day? Repeat of other successful projects in due course.

B. Finances

  • Financial report

  • Matters arising from previous meeting – see actions

C. Governance issues

  • Updates to Health and Safety Policy? Not necessary, it sits well for the events we do. There is also a Hazard Register that can be used.

D.   Admin and finances

  • Board credit card – decided no longer required.

  • Charities submission – will happen in due course. Performance Report, Rosie has completed her part. All in progress.

  1. General business

  • Hosting SDCN and Caversham Community Group for a small social gathering.
Bridget has contacted Mike who will get back to us with dates that work for them. Perhaps we should offer a couple of options in the meantime.
DSD suggest a date/5pm. Board agreed to arrange catering with Precinct for attendees and partners.

  • Communications: Socials and lots articles. Discussion.
