Christmas on King Edward St is Back for 2025!
We’re excited to bring the Christmas Window Competition back to King Edward Street - running from Cargills Corner to Macandrew Road - and we’d love for all shops, businesses, and community groups along the street to take part!
This year, Dream South D is helping brighten King Edward St by providing free wreaths and Christmas lights (yours to keep!) to anyone participating. If we haven’t managed to catch you in person yet, just reach out to us at hello@dreamsouthd.org.nz and we’ll make sure you’re included.
It’s a fantastic way to:
Spread festive cheer
Attract shoppers
Bring smiles to our community
Get creative and have fun
Decorate your windows with twinkling lights, cheerful wreaths, or any festive magic you can dream up! We’ll also be inviting the community to vote for their favourite display, with the winners receiving festive glory - and a fun little trophy.
