Getting ready for a big move…
Our new office undergoing a bit of a makeover…and some serious building work too!
We’re really excited to see the progress being made on the King Edward St office space that we’ll be moving into soon! It’s currently undergoing a big reno including some earthquake strengthening so it’s been a huge job, but we absolutely can’t wait to be right back in the heart of South Dunedin! At the same time, our staff will be a little bit sad to leave the beautiful Te Whānau Arohanui space, where we’ve been working since last August. Even though it’s a good sized hall, it’s such a warm and comfy place to be - and the parking (something very dear to many Dunedinites’ hearts) is AMAZING!! We can’t recommend it highly enough if you’re looking for a venue, and we’re sending much thanks and love to the TWA Trust who have been such kind and hospitable hosts!
We’re also looking forward to running our first Play Streets event - these are a really great way to get kids playing outside in a safe and fun way, and getting to know your neighbours at the same time! if you think you’d like to host one on your street with your neighbours, please get in touch with Nikita for more details. And keep an eye out for our flyers, especially if you live on one of those streets that have a bit less traffic :-)
