Sports Reconnect 2026

Dream South D, in collaboration with King’s High School and Sport Otago, is excited to bring another Sports Reconnect event this June! 

Sports Reconnect is about reusing, rehoming, and recycling pre-loved and nearly-new kids' sports gear and clothing.  

This free event is all about supporting tamariki and rangatahi to stay active and encouraging young people to keep playing the sports they love and try new sports. 

Come along for donated kids' sports gear, a free sausage sizzle, fun spot prizes and a great chance to connect with friends, whānau, and neighbours.

• Location: King’s High School, Performing Arts Centre at 270 Bay View Road, Dunedin, 9012. 

We are accepting donations now, and you’re welcome to bring something on the day as well.  Drop off at Dream South D at 183 King Edward Street
