Bathgate Play Park Celebration

Come and Celebrate at Bathgate Park!

Dream South D has installed a new accessible barbecue and drinking fountain, a new shelter, and a picnic table at Bathgate Park — creating even more opportunities for our local community to enjoy these spaces.

To celebrate, we’re holding a Play Parks Celebration for the community on Saturday, 3 October 2026, 11am - 1pm at Bathgate Park on Hillside Road

Come along and enjoy a free BBQ and lots of fun activities, including:

• Free face painting with our wonderful volunteers

• Plunket will be there with a comfortable space for feeding and changing babies

• Sport Otago will bring their ‘Spare Parts’ trailer, packed with fun and creative play opportunities using a variety of items to spark children’s imaginations

There will be plenty to keep children of all ages entertained, so bring the whānau along and join us in celebrating these wonderful new additions to our local play spaces!
