Our Community Plan is out!

We’re very happy and proud to be sharing our Community Plan with you all! This is the result of a huge amount of engagement work that Nikita completed with the South Dunedin community earlier this year, and will now be the document that helps to guide us in all our projects - it’s the touchstone that tells us what our community really wants!

Many of you reading this newsletter played an important part in this consultation, so a huge thanks to everyone who represented their whānau, their organisations and their community, and shared their thoughts and dreams for South D with us!

Project updates

We’ve been working on some lovely projects this year, including helping to support the kaimahi at Otago Polyfest and facilitating the rejuvenation of the Heart and Soil Community Garden at Musselburgh School. We’re recruiting!

Are you passionate about South Dunedin? Do you want to help make our community an even better place to live, work and play? Dream South D is looking for a Project Coodinator to join our team. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to work on community projects in South Dunedin, ranging from beautifying the main street to running community events and more.

You’ll have experience seeing projects through to completion and feel at home working in the details. You’ll also value the community connections and spirit that you’ll foster along the way. You’ll be proactive about helping those around you, and you’ll thrive on serving and supporting the people of South D. Click below for more or head over to Seek.
